I will be going to Bangkok Imm next week to renew my retirement visa. Can I get a photo there and if so how much? Thanks.

I don't recall any reports other than a copy service - but perhaps they also do photos. I would visit a corner photo shop if you can not make yourself. They can be picky about it being a new photo - they checked all the photos in my 10 year file last time to make sure. They have the equipment to make themselves but don't seem to be using it yet at Chiang Watanna from reports I have read.

Here's an idea. Why not take a recent photo with you?

Wow, thanks for that Jonathan! One would have never thought of that! I'll bet you live in Pattaya.

Passport photos are cheap enough at your local photo shop. :)

There is a photo/copy shop at the new immigration center at Chaeng Wattana.

It is down stairs on floor 'G'.

Go down the escalator by immigration and then "turn around to the right" once you get off the the escalator.

Then turn to the left and go to the end and it is along the back wall.

I go tmy picture taken there a few weeks ago, but can not remeber the price (maybe 100 thb or so???)
