Am I the only one in believing that the Laithong Hotel, Ubon Ratchathani thursday and friday luch buffet has become, how can I put it, a lot less intersting than say 18 months ago.

I seem to remember it was quite a destination for local workers and tourists alike.

Maybe it's just me getting older and fussier with less important things to think about :)

Yeah, it has gotten worse. Driving from Phuket to UBR for this buffet is getting to be for the birds! I have stopped taking the wife and kid due to gasoline and length of drive for this buffet.

Now it is Mcdonalds all the way.
