I would like to read your comments on the financial and social implications of the 26 Feb verdict and resulting red marches. Many of the doomsday preachers have had to eat their words as Thailand has not descended into chaos, and the financial implications in term of foreign and domestic investment seem to be minimal.

Inflows.

Consumer spending.

Stock prices.

Since the Thaksin verdict, the thai stock exchange as increased nicely, i have made a major profit on my thai stocks in the last 2 weeks (currently getting a 10% return).
