My wife and I will be making our first visit to Regent House next week. I have seen many warnings about the agents trying to sell their services before you have got to the correct office.

I know I am not allowed entry to the VFS office but am I allowed to go into Regent House and make sure my wife makes it to the VFS office.

You can accompany your wife all the way up to the VFS office, but of course you cannot enter their office. The security guard will make sure of that.

You'll probably have your first 'contact' with the visa world agents outside as you approach the main entrance. Ignore them, whatever they say, the genuine VFS staff are never outside or on the ground floor inside the building.

You can go up to the first floor waiting area in Regent House with your wife. As you approach the waiting area turn to your right. You'll see a gift shop facing you to the left with a lobby area to the right of it. As you enter the lobby area the 'visa world' office is straight ahead, keep well away from it, and turn to your right for the VFS Office.

Go in Regent House , Walk towards the lift strait in front of you, turn left opposite the lifts, up the stairs to the first floor turn right then right again you will see the glass doors for the visa centre, as already said take no notice of any touts, just say no thank you,They will even say we will check you visa for you, take your bankers draft with you because they will ask if you have one, if not you can get a bankers draft down stairs for 30/40 baht.
