Afzelia wood From now on you'll have to do your own Googling I came up with Ironwood as a name for what is called Mai Makha here. Not 100% on that. Dakhar Posted March 30, 2010 Share Posted March 30, 2010 Mahka, is it the same as Afzelia Xylay ? I brought some in via Laos some time back. It was not too dense/hard of a wood compared to Siamese rose wood and Burmese rose wood. The wood that I also find impressive is Mango.... I have seen some really nice furniture made of the wood.
