Does anyone have an idea of when the next generation of the iPod Touch will be released? I am in the market for a music player and the Touch would fit the bill but it's been out in its current form since last September and I don't want to buy one if there is a new model just around the corner.

The next circus with Jobs is June 22nd. So give it 2 months after that to see anything in US and EU stores. Give it another few months to arrive in Thailand.

Most likely Apple will release a new iPhone this summer and a new iPod Touch a few months after.

OS 4.0 is being previewed by Apple this Thursday. This will give you an idea of what the new Touch software will look like; and they may give a hint as to hardware release dates.
