How Long To Get A Work Permit?

I have done a quick TV search and various people have had different experiences.

How long has it taken people here to get a WP issued?

I'm working for a Thai foundation / NGO. I need to get it done in 2 weeks if poss cos thats when my visa runs out (even more of a problem with Songkran coming up :-))

The speed you get your work permit done generally revolves around who is doing the application for you, who they know in the labour office.... etc

When I first came here, my first work permit took nearly 8 weeks to get...moved company....new Non-imm B, new labour office....two days..so varies...

But if your application is in, you are under consideration, therefore your visa doesnt "run out" as such....if the due date comes up...you can get another "under consideration " stamp in your P/P

If the NGO hasn't done tha application yet...you shoudnt be working....

add athousand baht under your application .....it will be done alot quicker...don't tell ur mols
