Visitor Visa Supporting My G/f

Featured Replies

Well i have just finished reading some forums from other Aussie guys and i am need some advice to how hard it will be for me to bring my G/F for 3 month visitor visa to Australia, I am going to be full supporting her in accomodation and financial support, I met her at songkran 2003 but unfortunatley i only spent 3 days with her before my flight went home, I then had work accident 4 months later which stopped me from flying and work, so i only got back Dec 2004 and then again 2005 march as i want to bring her to Aus for 3 mnth holiday and support, i need some questions answered.. 1.. I have only a few photos of her since i came back, 2.. I use sms or i buy a phone card from Aus post to dial coz bloody Telstra charges a fortune for o/seas calls, 3... I am awaiting a payout from insurance company and wondering if that will still be ok if i use the evidence of balance of bank account with those funds.. 4... She does work in shop and it is only on part time basis.... Ok i hope i may get some answeres to these questions as i am flying back end July to hopefully be granted a visitor visa for her as a supporter for her... Dept of Imm in Australia told me it is not to hard to do but after reading the forums i am scratching my head ??? Please help if you can... Just want to know if someone may think i would have a chance with information i have to take to dept, i will take a letter of invitation and letter from employer stating i have work also..Thanks for help..Cheers
