April 2, 201016 yr I've recently been attempting indian cooking after receiving great spices from Sri Lanka. Where is the best place in BKK to acquire these types of spices? Any help much appreciated!
April 2, 201016 yr Best place to buy any Indian spices would be Phahurat. Anything & everything from India is availble here. Theres a place there who will even send it to your residence. PM me for the tel# Rgds
April 2, 201016 yr You can try in the following places... I haved marked 3 places on the map... All are in Silom... the previous poster's choice will also be good... One is marked "A" and the other is marked "B" and the third is just with "ROUND DOT" Ignore the blue lines... should you need to. You look for Burmese Shop around these 3 places... it is just a minute look around those spots... And, you will get all sorts of Indian spices... I prefer you go to the "ROUND DOT" or the "B" spot for best choices. Here is the URL: for Indian Spices... http://tinyurl.com/garammasalabkk Edited April 2, 201016 yr by ihightower

August 27, 201015 yr Hi can you buy chappati flour at this place as well, and what about cooking utensils like a duva? cheers. Sukhomvit Soi 18 3/4 way down on the right is a small Indian store, I get ALL my ingredients there. Except for some reason they don't have mango chutney.
