Preparation For "p6" Exams For Foreigners

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've gone through Level 1-6 of Thai language studies following the Union School methodology in a small school. However, I am not too satisfied with the teaching standard there :) and hence thinking of switching to another school which can adequately prepare me to take the above exam. I hope to do 3-4 "electives" or "advance" modules i.e. Thai social problem, newspaper etc, followed by preparation classes.

From your experience, can you recommend a/some school/s in Bangkok which can gear students towards the exam? I'm presently considering Nisa @ Yen Arkat.

You comments and suggestions is much appreciated :D

Currently, there is NO ป.๖ exam given for foreigners. :D That test stopped more than one year ago. :)

Posters on T/V known as 'withnail’ and/or ‘kriswillems’ are the ones who should weigh in on this topic.

Now all they give is a test to see where you are in relation to other people who test when you do.

There’s a post about it, somewhere here on the thai language sub-forum, but I can’t find it.

Good luck. .. :D
