Ed Extension (documents From The School?)

Featured Replies

Hello,

my Non-Immigrant ED stay permit says:

"To notify again on: 2 MAY 2010"

"Extension of stay permitted up to: 15 MAY 2010"

Do I need to contact the school-office for new documents, like I did for the first extension?

Or is a 90-day report without school documents sufficient?

thanks !

By some chance are you confusing the 90 day notification (often called ‘reporting’) you must do if you don't leave the country, with the 90 day extensions you must do on your ED visa?

They are not one and the same and usually they don't fall due on the same day. (I know it doesn't make sense, but that's how it works.. :) )

I suggest getting the supporting documents from your school for your next extension and just go to Thai Immigrations on the 2nd (when your 90 day reporting is due). At that time do your 90 days reporting and your 90 day extension all in once.

You will NOT lose any time as they add the additional 90 days extension when the current one expires.

tod-daniels, thanks for the advice ! Ok, this is what I supposed, ask for new documents (for the extension) at the school first + 90 day report to do it all at in once...

thanks again ! :)
