I was changing some sterling at my local Ayudhya/Krungsri Bank this morning, and was told that next month they will stop accepting older design 20 quid notes.

I advise anyone sitting on a stock of these to urgently check with your bank etc to see if they are about to suddenly stop accepting them, or any other older design of UK banknotes.

The new ones have been out for three years now, anyone who has a lot of these lying around will have some explaining to do when they bank them.
