You will also need completed application form TM7, copies of passport pages and TM6 card. Photos are not normally asked for for this type of extension, but best to take more than you may need.

What is the minimum amount of documentation needed?

Bringing both child and the child's mother might be helpful but isn't needed afaik.

Perhaps it is the same thing with Tabien Ban etc?

I think you better bring them with you, to show you are living together. That is the most important factor in giving this extension.

Tabien ban would indeed also be important, as would the birth certificate of the child.
