davelec
went there today for 90 day reporting as did it there last time only to be told cannot only for business visa people now so off to Cheng Wattana, which was bedlam. Got two tickets, one for 90 day and one for exit stamp for extension of non imm o visa. There were over 50 people ahead in the 90 day queue and 150 ahead in the exit stamp queue, great improvements!!! After getting the 90 day 2 hours later it looked like another two hours at least for the exit stamp so gave up and went home. I forgot to ask at chamchuri sq if it was possible to get an exit stamp there if not on a WP or business visa, anyone know? realy don't fancy trekking out to wattana again if not needed. Maestro
Sample of an exit stamp, ie departure stamp: You cannot get this at the One-Stop Center in Chamchuri Square. -- Maestro

opalhort
You go to a lot of trouble to be a smart arse don't you as you know that's not what I mean You are obviously talking about a re-entry permit. For the benefit of TV members, especialy new ones, please use the correct terminology, otherwise it can only cause confusion. opalhort
lopburi3
I suspect you mean a re-entry permit? You did say "exit stamp" five times.
hhgz
"I forgot to ask at chamchuri sq if it was possible to get an exit stamp there if not on a WP or business visa, anyone know?" In theory, the office at Chamchuri Square is for people involved with BoI-related visas. I was there today, and I was told to go to Chaeng Wattana. I went to CW, 40 people were ahead of me for 90-day reporting, and it only took 30 minutes to have the process completed. Pretty easy.
Tod Daniels
You go to a lot of trouble to be a smart arse don't you as you know that's not what I mean Whether it's what you meant or not is debatable as it's what you SAID. You posted a smart-arsed remark to probably one of the most knowledgeable posters in the entire "thai visa section". A little research BEFORE you post might have cleared this up FIRST. A person might think you want a 're-entry permit', but your use of less than correct terminology leaves us all in the dark. All of us except you evidently. And yes Chamchuri has really tightened up and doing 90 day reporting for mostly BOI registered companies. I had done my previous 90 days reporting there but they told me to go to Changwattana too. I concur that 90 day queue really moves (except for that hour long lunch). I think the O/P is in for another 'trek' out to Changwattana, although why he didn't wait it out (as he was already there) is beyond me.
