I thought they were supposed to be dropping the 60 day tourist visa fee again from April 1st? Checked with Thai Embassy website here in USA which states $35. Anyone know if they are going to waive it again in the near future or not?

Not soon they are charging.

I read that the 60 day single entry tourist visa will be free as from the start of April 2010,

It could be that the Embassies & Consulates are showing the fee on their websites but once you make the application you won't be charged.
