Suvarnabhumi Airport Part 2

Featured Replies

Left Lop Buri at 8PM for Pattaya via Ayutthaya over the new Toll Way via Suvarnabhumi. Saw a heap of Red Shirts in cars and busses heading to Bangkok, but the trip took 3 hours of comfortable driving. No road blocks, No Police, No Military, No traffic, No nothing. :D All a bit eerie for a city that has just been placed under a State of Emergency?

Like the Calm before the Storm.

I am heading back to Bangkok at 5AM this morning so will keep you updated. :)

It's only the bits where the reds have gathered that are under a 'state of emergency'.

More likely to be hit up by seasonal pre-Songkran weekend traffic jams and NORMAL police traffic stops than any great mobs of red shirted gangs going anywhere significant.

Drive defensively!

You have already started one thread about this, why do you want to start another the very next day?
