folks.

i have a mk 5 golf diesel and one of the fans at the front of the engine is making a sort of whining noise which i think started the same day as a new battery was fitted-------------the fan turns ok by hand when all turned off and i wonder if a cable or something had been displaced and is catching somewhere.

anybody come across before please.
