were is the best place to go and look for a boxer or doberman puppy

This is a hard one! :)

Find a good vet in your area and ask there, some have a list of local breeders or an advertisment board for this purpose. If not, and you want a pedigree dog, try the Siam Kennel Club the number should be available from telephone enquiries. :)

Maybe also dog training shools can help as they might have some connections. I wouldn't say that their advice is 100% non biaised as they might get some commission for recommanding a certain person, however I'm sure some are honest and might help you find a good companion. I just sent my GSD to training school last week; they seem to be real dog lovers and experienced trainers, and have very nice facilities. It's only a week ago but if the result is good I will not hesitate to name and recommand them.

One thing though - I can advice you to NOT go to JJ, please, not only for the bad deal you would get, but for the love of animals...

I looked very hard for a really good Rottweiler and found one at a private breeder on edge of Bangkok. He raises champion dogs in home environment. He also has some dobermans. PM me if you want contact.
