Hello everybody, thought i would post this as i have been seeking this info for some time, so anyone in my shoe's should find this useful. Picked this up at the British embassy this week (12/04/10) and i will carry on posting this subject while i am preparing to marry my Laos wife. Not sure if this is the right place for this, no doubt it will be moved, if it isn't, maybe Thai-visa should start a Laos section here, as the Laos forum in Laos is not that good, or maybe this one is just the best!!

feel free to ask away, i am living there, but got stuck in Bangkok for 3 weeks waiting for a new passport! i always take a picture of the bus timetables as the information network over there is not that great. I lived in the very northern district of Phongsaly, in Muang Khoua, it's a very small village on the river 'Nam Ou' not far from Vietnam.
