Garden Guys

Featured Replies

I am looking for somebody to help me with landscaping our yard. There is nothing right now...other than mud after our latest rain.

We want to do a waterfall, some plants, some grass, etc. I would sure appreciate any help...or maybe point me in the right direction. I will pretty much do the design myself, but need some strong backs (and good knowledge of local plants) to help me.

Thanks!!!

Craig

Palm trees grow reasonable fast and are relatively low maintenance if you spend a little time in the selection.

Go into almost any of the garden centre type shops all over Pattaya and surrounds - most will come up with designs and planting options depending on your budget, ask to see some of their previous work to get some ideas for design & price AND also check with the owners to make sure their happy!

There' quite a few close to you Craig, take the road from Ban Amphur towards Pheonix, near the Airpark turn off there is a place - cant remember the name exactly, but they have a big selection, been there for years, Pattaya Palms, Pattaya Oriental Palms or something like that, very close to the Airpark turn off.

Yes, we had those delivered just before the rains. They were even tall enough to stick out of the flooded areas! Need to do some grading for sure...along with some surface drains. I walked around the back side of the house, where they redid the drain pipes and lost one of my flip flops when I sank almost 1/2 meter into the mud!

Thanks for the recommendations. That is what I was kinda thinking and will stop by for sure now. We did meet a landscape guy...but after seeing his HUGE gold chain around his neck, decided he was going to be too expensive!!!! And his initial quote proved me right.

LennyW: I will head over there today and see what is up. Tough weekend to try and get anything done, but we will give it a try!

Thanks!!!!!!!!!
