Hi there.

can anyone recommend a good travel agent in phuket?maybe even with phonenumber.thanks

Taurus Travel, Aroonsom Complex, Patong Beach, 076344521, Fax (who on earth is using FAX in these days?) 076344523, web www.taurus-travel.com

If you are not fixed on Phuket, try hxxp://gothasadej.com from Nong Khai.

CLS. Phuket town. Phang Nga Rd. Opposite Royal Phuket City Hotel.

Have bought all my tickets there, for the last 11 years.

Talk to Jane. Quick, clever, good enough English, and charming.

(Even my really jealous wife admits, that Jane is great.)

Sweetland in Soi Bangla & also Central Festival near the banks. Been around for a long time & started off with a small stall on the beach road many years ago.

Any new gems for travel agencies since this thread started? Sometimes agents can get better airline deals than the airline websites.

This came up in another thread recently, where somebody agreed with what you have just said. I really find it hard to believe though, that an agency can get you a better price than if you search the entire web yourself. After all, when you go to the agency, where is it they get their flights from? They don't purchase tickets in advance like the big specialists do, so surely all they do is go on line and buying tickets from someone else, who has already bought them. You're just putting an extra middle man in front of you who will want his cut.

That's the way I see it, I'm happy to be proved wrong though.

GREEN TRAVEL in robinsons in PHUKET TOWN been using her for years, chinese thai lady speaks perfect english.follows up..and tells you all the best deals etc..
