Double Entry Visa Options...

Featured Replies

So this double entry gives you a 30 + 30 day Tourist Visa in Thailand? For $70US

U get an extra 30 days by paying 1900bt to Thai Immigration for an extension ??? 90 days in full then do it over again.

U fly to PP then go see who to get this double entry Visa? At the Airport or the Thai Embassy ???

Sounds like good value now flights are 2600bt each way to PP (Incl. Tax). By land u could do it cheaper but it takes you forever in the extreme heat.

90 Days for approx $250 (Flights, Visa's) and spend a few days seeing the sights of PP whilst there- sounds like a good option.

Another option another poster posted on another thread (Lazier Option for those interested) was paying 9500bt for bus to Poipet then the agents go get the double entry for you in PP... takes 2 days and he never had an issue. Stays in the Casino hotel for 2 days whilst waits for his multi entry Visa. Takes a 3.5 hr bus trip to Poipet then waits then back again.

Both options sound much the same price for 90 days worth of Tourist Visa's- if I am correct.

I came to Thailand with no Visa, so got a 30 day stamp, went to mai Sai expecting another 30 days only to get 15 days. Now need another 60-90 days. Sounds like the above options are my best bets, unless advised otherwised. Looking at the cheapest and easiest option and Mai Sai Visa Run is no longer it....

As I will be getting a B Visa in Aussie when return in July. But in the meantime.................? PP trip I guess with Double entry Visa seems like the easiest and most affordable option???

So this double entry gives you a 30 + 30 day Tourist Visa in Thailand?

It depends on your nationality. Nationals of some countries get 60 days on each arrival with a valid tourist visa, of other countries only 30 days. See here.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

Check with your local consulates in your home country, I found one that issued me a triple entry tourist visa, 60 days per entry, and in January they were giving them away free. Countries near Thailand won't be able to give you the same sort of thing.
