My work permit along with my 01 year visa will be cancelled today. I am planning to leave the country tomorrow but will return in 02 weeks time.

a) How can I get a visa to make the above possible ?

Can I get a 07 day extension today so when I leave tomorrow it will not be considered as over stay & if so, from where ?

c) How do I get a visa for my return ? Does it have to be a tourist visa ?

I have been working here for 1 1/2 yrs. & my son is schooling here. However, I will most probably leave Thailand at the end of May or June but want to return every 03 months or so. How best can I make this possible ?

Is your son Thai? That would open non immigrant O visa

If not Thai will son continue schooling here? That would open sponsorship extension of stay.

There should not be any problem leaving next day without an extension of stay - airport does not charge for normal one day overstay and it does not effect visas.

A tourist visa unless you want to study or have other reasons (such as above).
