Non-immigrant O In Kl

Featured Replies

I'm planning trip to KL to get non-imm O visa at Thai Embassy (hopefully one year multiple entry). If I am at the office first thing in the morning how long will it take them to process the visa application....same day? Thanks.

Submit the application, and pick up the next day is the usual procedure. There may be some useful information here from the "Latest Reports" pinned topics.

Apply one day pick up next , there are set times for applying and pick up, look on the Thai embassy Malaysia web site for times and documentation requirements. get there early ( 8.00am) , not long queues but they only accept applications up to a set time and as they were trained by the Brits on how to be good public servants they stop work on the stroke of the hour.

Apply Day 1: 09.30-11.30 hrs.

Collect Day 2: 14.30-16.30 hrs.

Unless married to Thai unlikely you will obtain multiple entry Non-O visa at KL.

Are KL asking for money in a Thai bank? I seem to recall a figure of 100K Baht :)

Obviously it says nothing on their website.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

They do not really have a web site - that is an MFA site. They have provided the 100k in emails to those that have asked.

Me&my husband face it by our self we have got 50K in Thai bank that they are asking for

and the result of the officer said 50K not enough must be 100K (We went there in January 2010)
