Well, I happen to be reading this threadf with Sanddragon... Can`t say I`m not interested in hearing that story...

Avatars, I`d say Scampy or Totster...

The latter always signs off with  :o which is cool.

There is only one person I can think of who uses his nick in nearly every single post. This has to be a sign of creativity, and puts him in the list of contenders... The man with all the pics...cos you know too KAN WIN...

:D

I thouht KAN WIN was a laydee - not sure why.

I'm still not sure about Bluecat!

I can confirm that 'He Who Must Not Be Named' is a male European and a good friend too. :o

Well, you must admit there was some doubt when he used to post over here. :D

I always thought Thomas Merton was the strangest, I suppose that depends on if that is his real name or not.

Do a google on Thomas Merton. :D

I did, clicked the feeling lucky tab, and got the following:

The Monk and Poet... Sounds like a Pub..

:o

Where and how did he die?

Merton died by accidental electrocution in Bangkok, Thailand, while attending a meeting of religious leaders on 10 December 1968, just 27 years to the day after his entrance into the Abbey of Gethsemani.

:D:D:D:D

Alas, hereabouts he's known as a spammer and promoter of other sites on this site. If you like I can post his threatening mail. Not welcome hereabouts. And lest you think I am stupid, I know he's here now. Why not ... there's FA at that other site.

As a strange but likeable username, ..::LegalAlien::.. , hasn't posted since before Christmas last year though...  :D

Obviously an Englishman in New York.

:o:D

I don’t take coffee I take Chai Lon Ti-rak

I like my toast done on Noong side

And you can hear it in my accent when I Pud

I’m an Angritman in new york

See me walking down fifth avenue

A walking cane here at my side

I take it everywhere I walk

I’m an Angritman in new york

I’m an alien I’m a legal alien

I’m an Angritman in new york

I’m an alien I’m a legal alien

I’m an Angritman in new york

If, manners maketh man as someone said

Then he’s the hero of the wan

It takes a man to suffer ignorance and smile

Be yourself no matter what they say

I’m an alien I’m a legal alien

I’m an Angritman in new york

I’m an alien I’m a legal alien

I’m an Angritman in new york

Modesty, propriety can lead to notoriety

You could end up as the only Noong

Gentleness, sobriety are rare in this society

At night a candle’s brighter than the sun

Takes more than combat gear to make a man

Takes more than a license for a gun

Confront your enemies, avoid them when you can

A gentleman will walk but never run

If, manners maketh man as someone said

Then he’s the hero of the day

It takes a man to suffer ignorance and smile

Be yourself no matter what they say

I’m an alien I’m a legal alien

I’m an Angritman in new york

I’m an alien I’m a legal alien

I’m an Angritman in new york

:D

... just my initials - but when I see the creativity of some of the other names I wish I'd put more thought into it :o

Me too! Just wanted a quick answer to some visa questions. Didn't even see any "clever" ones 'till much later, and too late to change!

And me, just wanted a quick answer to a question. Geeesh....another one of those "if I only had it to do over again" things in life. :D

I kind of like the nickname that Jaye has given to Lampard..."Lampshade" and his wife "DragonLady". :D:D:D

Well, I happen to be reading this threadf with Sanddragon... Can`t say I`m not interested in hearing that story...

Kayo, sorry, not quite as interesting a story as you might have hoped. I had just used it to sign into the NRL footy tipping comp on nrl.com - "Dragon" being the mighty St.George Illawarra Dragons ("never before, never again") and "Sand" being the natural feature which currently surrounds me for at least 800km in every direction.
