NBD
Hello, Just wondering if anyone has any experience of this. My situation is that I have a new job starting shortly and have quite a lot of outgoings before I receive my first pay cheque, so I want to know if it's possible as a none Thai to get an overdraft to help cover this? I've had an account with Bangkok bank for about 8 months, I have a work permit and a signed contract with the salary on it, but my account is at a rural branch, and while my Thai is getting better it's not really upto asking this without causing the "too difficult" light to flash and the bank staff to say impossible. Thank in advance for any advice/experience.
esbkk
Any Thai bank will give you one … usually for the same amount as the DEPOSIT you lodge with them ... I suppose that’s not really what you are after …
