bencottrell Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 Hi we (that is my Thai family) own a plot of NS3 land, 2 rai. we also 'own' around 2 rai of TB5 land which borders on the NS3. I've been told it is possible to 'upgrade' the TB5 if the same owner has NS3 bordering it does anyone know the procedure? I'm aware there are restrictions on the size of the land upgraded compared to the size of the NS3, and also how many times it can be done per paper all advice appreciated!!
Changian Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 TB is a disease. PBT5 is probably the 'title' you want upgrading. What can or cannot be done varies from place to place. What did the Land Office say when you called them? Or if you haven't called them, as they are the people who do this, do it tomorrow and you'll have your answer.
nattymatt Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 well that was helpfull........ TB is a disease is it? not a land title....glad you pointed that out. Sorry I can't help you, but winds me right up when people pick your questions to bits and then state the obvious.... Hopefully someone here can help
Macnick Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 What you need to do is upgrade the NS3 to Chanote and include the PBT5 in the upgrade. This is perfectly legal and all NS3 will need to be upgraded to Chanote at some point as it is the only exact measurement of land. Do it slowly and correctly at the land office, be careful of anyone offering quick upgrades for money unless they have experience in doing so. Good Luck
