Mrs. wants to get a loan from this Bank...Anyone had any dealings with them? Have a branch in CNX, which I have seen..don't know about BKK. They don't seem to issue ATM cards and so not part of ATM pool. I asked KBank if I could transfer money to them through Cyberbanking..apparently not...so are they a bank or a'finance house'?..any info welcome.thanks.

They used to be a car finance company, but have converted to a bank. Their major function is still car financing, according to the loan officer when I got my car loan. They also do personal loans. They said once we showed consistency in payments over a year, they would loan my wife some ungodly amount for her business. We have no need for that, but nice to know it's an option available to her.

I found they were quite easy to deal with - the loan officer came to my house at 7.00 p.m. for us to do the paperwork. The rates, while not the best, were very close.

I pay my loan through K-Bank, but go to the ATM, and never a problem. Kiatnakin mails a receipt the next day.

Hi, yes I have both a savings account and car hire purchase loan through them. They are part of the ATM pool, you can get an atm card and the making loan payments is quite easy. My only problem is that their branch network is not very big, in the case that you actually need to go into the bank for help. (See my post in Immigration/Visas forum and you'll understand!). Also it's not possible to transfer from another bank via internet banking at the moment, but you can transfer via ATM transfer to KK bank.
