Where do you get your news from on the Web?

I'm done with BBC news, I think it is too one sided and I am fed up reading the crap on it's website.

Watching hardtalk yesterday and then seeing the news about the trouble in Thailand and that's why I think it is one sided. I do not want to use BBC news anymore so can anyone point me to a decent website with world news please?

Of course for Thai related news I use Thaivisa and I think they do a great job keeping us in the loop.

I often use http://news.google.co.uk it has news stories from all around the world and is updated frequently.

this looks handy. Thanks

Where do I get my news you ask? Why from you folks of course. I'm too lazy to do my own research and I leave it up to the anal ones who always want to be right. :)

This one's great. Articles from many sources.

They are all promoting their own agenda, but at least FOX has the babes and is entertaining. I find a variety of printed sources on the internet to be much better for serious news.

cracked dot com!!!!!

For Thai news I use our housekeeper as she is very up to date :):D :D

thai visa news section....

I assume you're talking only about world-wide news. I think using primarily one source is intellectual laziness.

I try to access several sources on opposite sides of the spectrum and then assume the truth is somewhere in the middle. My sources: BBC, CNN, Al Jezeira. My family keeps me updated about what's on FOX, although I don't access it personally.

I'm always suspicious of a news source that tells me what I want to hear.

I get all my opinion based, hard fact, world and Thai specific news off www.thaivisa.com/forum/news

What more could anyone need?

Go to google's advanced search page (http://www.google.com/advanced_search) and click on 'news' at the top of the page. You'll get a variety of sources and lead stories.

Some good links in this topic, thanks.

Some of the topix links were blocked in Thailand, like this one.
