Gatorade
Looks like a Rat or Corn Snake to me.....not sure though My bets would be on a rat snake. However, it might be a coral snake which is to be avoided. Phil, the snake expert would know. PM me if you need his tel no.

Gigabyte
Dead... Yeah... Looks like the poor thing tried to eat a live grenade... Anyway definitely not a corn snake; they eat corn and not explosives.

PoorSucker
caught a nsake whilst fishing in the sea. are the snake from the sea bad ! i mean poisnous Yes, among this group are species with some of the most potent venoms of all snakes. Some have gentle dispositions and bite only when provoked, but others are much more aggressive. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_snake

Gatorade
Here is another one. Is it poisonous? We had one in the outside cupboard a month ago. Exactly the same. I think its a striped keelback. It had an attitude which was unsurprising as we were coaxing it into a fishing net to set it free. It will bite but is not supposed to be dangerous. yotspeed
This one outside the office early one morning week before last. Malayan Pit Viper - very poisonous!! Fortunately had eaten a meal recently, (visible bulge in the lower body about the size of a mouse) so relatively docile and was able to shoo him off into the undergrowth behind the office. Not seen since. Good web site with lots of info on Thai Snakes and here is the Viper
