warfie
Here's some pics of the conditions faced by patients evacuated out of Chula to a partially finished building. No guessing which way they'll be voting come December... http://www.pantip.com/cafe/chalermthai/top...1/A9192681.html It would be interesting to see the conditions of the hospital before they moved the patients. You're suggesting the mattresses were not stained before? And the fluids machine wasn't rusty? Considering the red shirts haven't harmed any patients, was there really a need to move them? The patients are now used as a pawn in the propaganda war against the reds. As soon as I saw the first pic I knew someone like you would say something like this. You people are getting really boring. A_Traveller
On the Emerald Buddha point, to be honest I can see a reason for such an attack, it could be taken as adding further superstitious weight to another legendary soothsayer prognostication with reference to a blood line. Equally the reaction after the broken Buddha incident within the red camp a week or so ago IIRC should be noted. Regards

Sisaketmike
Many of the Reds come from Thailand's rural poor and urban working classes and seek the return of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who was ousted in a 2006 coup and now lives overseas to avoid a jail term for corruption.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think you are forgetting the large proportion of violent criminals - Your statement is just basically an old fact. The coup was understandable because people figured out what he really did. I'm not talking about the over 3,000 dead people in his son's war, because he was addicted to Jabba. Hate should never be a reason for something...........Chock Dee/ Please former PM Khun Thaksin come back, they all need you. Greetings to your watermelons. The military have Methee and for a few days now they have one of Sae Daengs right hand men and a few lesser characters. Likely they arent going to tell anyone what they know. They may or may not ever use it but it gives leverage at this point and also creates uncertainty among those who knwo what the captured know. The reds some time ago asked to have a meeting with the management of the hospital, i think it said on tele the management have been waiting for an hour and a half.9 also on tele with avideo of assembled hotel people) Of course not, it was those pesky little green men from the UFO, the same that launched the mortars, RPG, Petrol Bombs and shot ....... or was it the government or ...... bangon04
where were the police, just being spectators as usual? What a bunch of useless idiots. Why don't the PM just declare martial law and be done with it. If the forces commander won't comply, find one that will. Get rid of these waste of space and get someone who would actually do something about it, and I am also including PM in this. Raiding a hospital, what a low blow. Get the UN involve, as this is definitaly not something that the forces can handle, due to a high percentage of rotten watermelons and incompetent idiots. While we're at it, might as well revert to absolute monarchy, or even a dictatorship, that way at least there's only one target/group. And not be in this mess. Well a real Democracy cannot survive without a functioning Law Enforcement agency, and Thailand has no credible police force. They continue to embarass the country in the eyes of the world. People who have spent time in Thailand usually regard the Royal Thai Police as a bit of a joke, but it has stopped being funny now.

There are lots of sad stories coming out about this now, but dont worry Jatuporn said it is justified to do all this as did Nattawut and belatedly after apologising Weng, so at least the red leadeship are now agreed that whatever happened at Chula and whatever the patients have to put up with it is justified. Anybody who has had abdominal or spinal surgery before knows how painful any type of movement is. Even getting on to a wheelchair can take one's breath away due to the pain. Then you feel every little bump during the ride. I can recall being wheeled into an elevator and wincing just upon going over the entry part. Add to it the corner which is occasionally accidentally clipped and you see stars again, or when the catheter which is up your peter gets tripped on . Some of these patients surely suffered severe, needless pain. For what? According to Chulalongkorn Hospital administration, only patients who requested to be moved were evacuated. Pretty much most of them. Tells you all you need to know.

bangon04
Now we have the DSI (like the CIA) on tele saying someone tried to bomb Wat Pra kau fortunatly it didnt detonate the DSI's the most competent law enforcement agency in Thailand and they do actually do a good job at things from everything I understand, but they're not entirely above politics. It sounds pretty suspect that this would happen, so I'm not exactly ready to jump on the believer bandwagon regardless of what side is thought to be blamed (reds/yellows/government false flag/whatever). I can't imagine any Thai person seeing a benefit in bombing Wat Phra Keaw except to smear someone else and I can't imagine anyone who would think that smearing someone else would be worth the cost of being the guy who bombed Wat Phra Keaw. Still, who knows - but it sounds pretty odd. DSI is the best Thailand has to offer?? Grenades in the street, reams of arrest warrants fluttering in the wind, and what are the DSI spending their valuable time on?? Chasing morons on Facebook!!! Hardly an efficient use of resources..... Grenades in the street, reams of arrest warrants fluttering in the wind, and what are the DSI spending their valuable time on?? Chasing morons on Facebook!!! Hardly an efficient use of resources..... I don't think that's the DSI's remit. I could be wrong, but I remember there being a special cyber-division set up a year or two ago for all internet related 'crime'. BTW, a timely reminder for the paranoid, since that time, all Thai internet providers (i.e., True & TOT and their concessionaries) are required by law to keep IP addresses of every uses for 90 days, and sites like Thaivisa are required by law to hand over IP addresses to the gov't if requested...so, be careful out their people... Personally I don't agree with any of this, including the shutting down of UDD on FB if true. Let them have their little group to tell consoling lies to each other too, it keeps the feeble minded in a safe place and helps to prevent them being exploited by red leaders to lookfor a more dangerous outlet somewhere else, like on the streets. So now there is a positive link between the reds andf the grenade attacks. Very bad day for the red team PRwise positive link? hold up fella! sure yr not jumping to conclusions to quick coz it suits yr cause? fullcave
Indeed DSI are saying Wat Prakaew targetted with RPG There is a belief about the existance of the "Emerald Buddha" and the Kingdom of Thailand. This actually DOES change things! I can't tell you how happy I am that this attack apparently failed! Could we have a link to a source for this statement? The DSI website doesn't have anything about it. Not asking for your firstborn child, just for a link. Heads up sparky but I think you are on the ignore list (therefor they can't see your post) so you might as well be talking to a wall.

nong38
These are the people who want to run the country? The leaders cannot control the them, they can break any law in the name of democracy, they deserve what is coming to them. It is a dreadful way to behave and I hope all the patients are not to disturbed by this, I am sure they will not forget it. Let us hope that sense breaks out soon.
