my internet speed today iis very slow in Phuket with 3BB.

Test result:

Download Speed: 63 kbps (7.9 KB/sec transfer rate)

Upload Speed: 302 kbps (37.8 KB/sec transfer rate)

I couldn't cantact 3BB via e-mail, and telephone keeps me waiting.

Anyone with the same problem?

YES. My speed has been CRAP for days and frequently "dropped" service. And to think we are paying for this JUNK.

Every year at this time it seems to be the same.

Couple of actual reasons given to me by a TTT 'rep' are....

School holidays mean too many users and too hot, modem overheating, try cooling it with a good fan.

3BB in CMai is just as slow, in fact it has always been slow since I first bought into it 3 months ago.

Having just read the above threads I ran a test on my 3BB, these are the results;

Thailand

Download - 10.85 Mbps

Upload - 0.85 Mbps (crap)

Speedtest.net (London)

Download - 9.92 Mbps

Upload - 0.18 Mbps (crap)

I have max premiere and very very slow today. I have 5 meg and even only the thai speedtest only getting about 2. it has gotten a bit better the last few min. Most of the time it is good thought about calling to complain today at one point it stopped totaly

I just tried from Patong, and the speed was so bad I couldn't load the Speakeasy test at http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/

I reset the modem (just unplug and plug it back in), and the speed to San Francisco went up to 3.45 Mbps down, 0.21 Mbps up.

For international users, for the last two hours the CAT IIG from BKK to planet in San Jose has been down, and just back up now.

I think 3BB had fixed somethig today. Now the speed is back to normal.

still very very bad for me, called cold not get anyone who spoke english, they said sone would call me back but never did. I checked themodem status page and says my dowloand is only 2,374, and up is 50. seems something is wrong iwth the line. I am suppose to have 5 MB and 1 MB upload. my upload just tested 30 on speedtest.net bangkok server and only 2.38 down. My VOIP Vonage line is ot working seemsI do not have enough upload. I have had 3BB for 8 months with no major issues tell now. Now it us useless. Not surehow to get anyone on the phone, every time I call the can not speak english and can not even find my account. Have to have the long account number for them to check anything. thier service really does suck as bad as true!!!!
