I have an early hospital appointment close to Victory Monument in a couple of weeks and cant get there in time from here so will have to stay in BKK the previous night.

Anyone know of a cheap place to stay in the Victory Monument area?

How cheap? Florida hotel is right there one step above flea bag and I have no idea of the prices but it couldn't be expensive very run down. I myself live near there and see a cardiologist at Rajavithi hospital every three months She is very capable been seeing her for 6 years now only falang in the waiting room Saturday morning. Oh and you know it is first come first served here what ever time it says is just a guide, wife and I get there around 6 just as it opens. Good luck.

You could stay at the VP Tower at Soi Rang nam which is 800 THB / night. Not to bad and there a lots of Restaurants around Soi Rang nam too.

Abloom Service Apartments is a good value for the money.

Think I will give Rajprasong a miss though even though I might get paid to stay there I hear the toilet facilities arn't the best and that its quite noisy
