Hi, I have been to Thailand a number of times (Bangkok & Phuket) but we are on a cruise that docks at Laem Chabang in October. Knowing how much the cruise lines scam passengers with transport costs, we (group of 4) would just like a taxi to take us to Pattaya and stay with us for 4-6 hours for us to have a look around. How long is the trip and what would you suggest. Is there anyway we can organise someone to meet us at the port prior to arriving and any idea of cost. We normally pay in vicinity of 1800-2000BHT for a full day tour in Phuket. Thanks Lynn

From the port to Pattaya its about a 30 minute drive,Not sure if Baht busses head all the way out to the Port, prolly would not be too hard to organise one though, as for price, that would need to be negotiated.
