Does anyone in the offshore fraternity know of a vendor for prescription safety glasses in Thailand? Friend of mine needs them and would appreciate any leads

Try Euro Optic opposite the Marriott Hotel on second road (Nr Royal Garden Plaza), if they cant provide them they will probably know where you can purchase them.

Dont bother with Euro Optic, they cant supply, I looked & never found anywhere, ended up getting from Singapore, so if you do find somewhere please let us know.

The problem appears to be the "glass" for lenses not available in Thailand.
