seefah
Whilst sorting out documentation for my fiancée's settlement visa application to the UK, we came across an incorrect spelling of her name in English on her degree education certificate. All other documentation and ID card have her name with a 'h', but the degree certificate is without the 'h'. Will this cause a problem in the application process or in gaining work within the UK, and is it possible to correct the name on a degree certificate from many years ago? Obviously correcting the name would be better if possible and give more peace of mind. She feels that the name being spelt incorrectly will make others think that it is not her certificate. lostforwords
Pretty sure she could request a new certificate from her university with the correct spelling without too much fuss.
