For the DNA test, please note that this can only be done at the police general hospital in Bangkok near Rajaprasong and not any private hospital or clinic. When i had to do it to prove my son is really my son (even though i am the father on his birth certificate xD) ended up going there 3 times. At that time (4 years ago) they would only allow for 2 DNA tests done per day with quite a waiting list. Also do the health test at the Police general hospital, they are used to PR applicatants and will make sure you get the right forms that the immigration will accept, as i tried some government hospital in Pattaya but had to do the whole thing again in BKK. If you are lucky you can do both the DNA test and this Health check up at the same day. Other biggest hurdles for me were the certification from your home for no police history. It must be not older then a few months. Also the certification of this document and your education must be legalized by the Thai embassy in your home nation, before you have it courriered to Thailand to have it translated and legalized by the Ministry of Foreign affairs. Good luck Ant.
