BANGKOK: -- The Bus Rapid Transit's first route from Sathorn to Ratchapreuk road will open to the public on Saturday for free trial rides from 6am-midnight until August 31.

The special buses will run every 5-10 minutes for the 30-minute trip on the 15-kilometre route, linking 12 stations - Sathorn, Akan Songkhro, Yen Akard, Thanon Chan, Nararam, Wat Dan, Wat Pariwas, Wat Dokmai, Rama IX Bridge, Charoenrat, Rama III Bridge and Ratachpreuk.

A preview for the media will be held today.
