hi,

i am thinking about maybe moving to Kanchanaburi and though i have visited many times, i have never looked around for longer term accomodation.

was just wondering if anyone can throw a ballpark figure for renting a small house (2-3 bedroom and garden, a/c would be good, in or near tha muang area).

I have rented in Kanchanaburi before.

In Pysan(? spelling) View, just off the main road north and maybe 3 k's from the town centre, there are 3 bed rentals for around 3k bht a month. Gardens are small mind and ours only had air in the main bedroom.

It was pretty sparsely furnished too which seems to be the Thai way for rentals.

You are looking at 5-10K dependent on quality and fittings
