Featured Replies

Hey guys, im staying in Pattaya for 3 months and im looking for some accommodation that meets my needs. Here they are:

- Fast Solid internet (super important)

- Aircon

- Close to walking st (within 1 km prefered)

- Pool

- 2 rooms available

optionals

- spa/sauna

Budget no more than 20k a month per room

Thanks for your replys

'Fast Solid internet (super important)" ... Sorry but I think you picked the wrong country. Internet in Thailand is getting better than it was, but "fast" or "solid" are not words I'd use to describe it.

"Fast solid" :)

Yeh been here a while know what you mean, having said that there still a huge difference between good and bad Internet here so the closer to solid the better. In chiang Mai true Internet was rubbish considering I was paying 2600 a month for it

I have been in Pattaya for 8 years and have had every internet option available to include the super expensive IP star satelite dish. I currently have 2 services and none I have tried have been what I would call fast and/or reliable.

My experience from endless threads on this forum is that regardless of which provider you go with there are people who think it is great and never have problems with it and others have never got it to even work. Hit and miss even for people living in the same area. You simply have to try what's available where you are and see how it works for you.
