1 Year Extension (marriage Visa)

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

I am due to do my yearly Non Immigrant 'O' visa extension (based on marriage) at C/W next week. I have all the correct and necessary documents in order except for the bank letter which will be collected on the morning.

However, I still have not received my 90 days reporting slip by post from C/W. It was posted to C/W on 22 April by EMS post. I still have the EMS receipt.

If the slip doesn't come to me before I apply for my extension, will this be a problem? Should I say anything or hope they don't notice its absence?

I really don't want to pay B2,000 as I am not in the wrong and have done everything correctly!

Any advice?

Thanx

JD

It should not be a problem but take along the receipt in case it is questioned.

Thanks, Lop.

You mean it won't be a problem because I have the EMS receipt, or it won't be a problem because the 90 days slip is not needed?

Edited by jamesjdaly

It has never been required but if it were you have proof of having sent it if they want to check.

Ok Thanks again.

If you have a print-out of the EMS tracking showing the mail arrived and a copy of your previous 90-day slip take them along just in case.

You should not have any problems.
