Hi, I'm Brie and I'm new here. I just signed up for the Special Thai Project with the American TESOL Institute... I'm doing the one in Bangkok starting August 30th. Just wondering if there's anyone else out there doing that course too? It might be nice to get in touch before we go over there!

Yes, I definitely want to learn Thai! I've got a few books/CDs right now so I can learn the basics before I come, but I have a feeling it'll be much easier to pick things up once I get there. Thai is so different from English... I'm having such a hard time with it!

PS Thai is actually easier than english, but since you are used to english it might look hard...hopefully you will find it easier to learn when you get here.
