May 15, 201016 yr I saw a recent post claiming re-entry permits can be gotten on saturday mornings at the old immigration office at Suan Plu. Don't forget to bring the pic's and stay safe. You can always call 1111 (government information line) to check.

May 15, 201016 yr However, Suan Phlu. is very close to active fighting and I would not recommend travel there - most access roads are closed off and vehicle may come under fire.

May 15, 201016 yr Din Dang at expressway has been a battle area with troops being attacked yesterday and expressway blocked today. Central Bangkok is not safe at this time.

May 15, 201016 yr Arguing again for getting a Re-Entry Permit at the same time you get an extension of your Non-O visa. Precludes trying to get one on a Saturday if you suddenly need to travel, or if there's shooting downtown. Mac
