I would have expected him to be right there on public TV after yesterday's increase in fighting and casualties. Was he? I'm only seeing government spokesmen doing the briefings. No. PM's statements are usually referenced the same or next day in print or online media. There hasn't been a peep for a few days. The fact that was "footage" seems to prove nothing.
