Hi, does anyone know if there are any volunteer organisations in Surat that I can look at getting involved in. I've just moved here and would like to do something else as well as work and stuff.....

Note that for volunteer work you will need a work permit as well, so make sure the organisation you will be vlunteering for will help you applying for one. A lot of Thai organisations won't.

It might be helpful to memebrs if you tell what kind of field your interested in, like animals, nature, children, the elderly etc.

I should mention that I am interested in any type of volunteering really. Working in wildlife or marine conversation, building homes or working with children. I do have a work permit as I currently am living and working here so any info would be appreciated.

Work permit is only valid for the job/location listed on it - be aware of that. It does not allow other work.
