Hi, i've been living in Bangkok for about one and a half years with thai girlfriend and now looking at going back for a short holiday (approx. 10 days over christmas) to aus.

I have heard it is difficult for thais especially women to get visas, any tips?

only difficult if the women is a lo-so slapper.Otherwise she has nothing to worry about.

Has the girl got a job to come back to ? In any event, you should go with her to apply at the Oz Embassy. Ensure that you are both conservatvely dressed, and bring any evidence of the length of your relationship.
