Reporting For The First Time

Featured Replies

Hi

I have to do my first report on a retirement visa by the 22nd May.

I live in Udon Thani. Some advice please.

I hear that there is an Imm Office at the airport.

Do I just take my passport ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yes. Immigration Office is at the airport.

Passport and TM47 application form. They will have these if you do not want to download.

Some offices require proof of address.

You will need passport and fill out a TM.47 form. They may also want to see proof of residence such as a lease/home register/hotel bill/letter to you with address or such.

Many thanks for the info. Is there a cost to the service?

Times of opening ?

Apologies for the extras

Regards

No cost.

Normal government hours seem to be 0830-1200 and 1300-1630 so expect that is what they will follow

Maybe a copy of your bank book with a transaction or balance report on the date of you visit to Immigration and a letter from you bank dated the same day to verify that you have the necessary funds on deposit. As I have read in this forum these items are necessary. Maybe copies of the main passport page and visa page???

Not for a 90-day report.

There's an Immigration Office at the airport that can process 90 day reports? Where abouts is it please I've never heard about this before and that's a huge time saver for me if that's possible.

tks

KK

Post was about Udon (not Bangkok).

Ah ha thanks for clarifying that :)
