"special Holidays"-thai Embassies Open?

Featured Replies

Can anyone report with any confidence whether all, some or no embassies and consulates of Thailand are affected by these "special holidays" through May 21?

Are staff on duty to process visa applications this week?

The U.S. Embassy has opened offices at a different location. You do not mention what embassy you need, be more specific. Most are closed but they have phone numbers that they will answer for emergency situations.

The special holidays are only for Bangkok, not for the rest of the country and will also not affect the Thai missions abroad.

Actually he asked about Thai Embassies and they should not be effected by a local holiday in Bangkok.

I think OP is asking, if THAI embassies or consulates are open this week in countries around Thailand.

Normally should be, because the Public Holidays are only for Bangkok due to the trouble there.

My question is about the representatives of the government of Thailand in other countries.

Sorry for the confusion.

Are the Royal Thai Embassies and consulates in other countries working regular hours these days, or have they been shut for these "extra holidays" that the government of Thailand has recently announced, as of now running through the 21st?

Were the embassies and consulates of Thailand in Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, for example, open and operating today and yesterday? Are they expected to be open tomorrow?

Thanks

Why you asked the question twice?

All Thai Embassies and Consulates are working normally.

The holiday is only for BKK.
