Maybe my question is stupid or needless but as responsible father I will do and by my bad experiences while working in eastern countries and his "IQ limited" officers. Eg you have no moustache on passport picture, was frequent if later had one, you had to shave etc.!

My question: is Thai immigration at the airport equipend to read "biometrical passports"?

My reason: My son 15 and few more was forced by mobbing of some stupid students to not cut his hair to make bigger difference to the short and skin hads. If they did they was hit etc.! My son have now longer then to the schoulder hairs.

He had to make new passport for his Thailand holiday in July and on this he have long hair which change much his outlook.

But to come to Thailand and because by the right authority the bad students are now quiet, he want cut his hair on normal length. If he would have a normal passport I see problems. If Immigration can read biometrical passports I see no problems because there is integrated a finger print.

Just because he is still minor I want avoid custom problems. Thanks

If Thai use too for thai passport biometrical, it mean they have installed the system to read it on the border.

If they can read Thai and US biometrical passport, they can read all and included Swiss one.
