Thai Visa From Kuala Lumpur?

Featured Replies

hi everyone,

i understand i could most likely get this information on the forum but i am travelling rural india and have for the first time in a while got access to (highly unreliable!) internet connection. it would be much obliged if someone would help me out with my questions. i am a british passport holder and wish to spend around 2months in thailand. i have 2 days in kuala lumpur beforehand, can i get a tourist visa easy enough here and if so what do i need in terms of photos, cash etc. can i pay in malaysian ringgit? also i saw a post saying visa fee exemption until march2011, does this apply when i get a visa in kuala lumpur? one last thing, do i need an outgoing flight from thailand, as i was planning on crossing the land border to laos? so much appreciated guys.....huge huge help to a fellow traveller! :)

thanks

A tourist visa is 60 days and is indeed free. A single entry should not be any problems. You apply on day one and collect your passport and visa the next work day.

Select one of the links to KL.

Yes. Apply AM and collect next day PM. Visa free of charge.
